A diversified fundraising plan helps to protect your organization from changes in the funding environment. This workshop will stress the need for a multi-faceted approach to fundraising — a plan that goes beyond events and grants with an eye toward creating a comprehensive and holistic revenue stream that enhances sustainability.

Participants will analyze different fundraising vehicles and how to maximize each so they provide long-term continual funding from a variety of sources.

Instructor: Jessa Heisey, CFRE

Jessa Heisey raised over $10 million for children and currently serves at the nationally acclaimed Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida (Development Officer of the Joe R. Lee Club in Eatonville).

Her 24 years of nonprofit experience were gained from previous roles at Children’s Home Society of Florida (Senior Director of Development over multiple regions, Senior Grant Writer supporting statewide, and Director of Development for Central Florida); A Gift For Teaching; and Children’s Miracle Network.

Since 2019, Jessa instructs and consults to help nonprofits fully activate their fundraising to further enhance their mission.

Jessa holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential signifying tenure and demonstrated fundraising achievement, B.S. in Business Management from the University of Central Florida, BoardSource Certificate of Nonprofit Board Consulting, Crummer Management Certificate, Certificate in Fund Development from Indiana University, Benevon 101 and 201 Certificates, and is a Leadership Orlando Class ‘64 graduate.
